SCSI DVD-RAM Drive for $199 -- Hot??

This place lists the DVD-RAM drive at $199.99. The cheapest I've seen for any DVD-RAM drive is no less than $450. Is this deal hot?

whoah, that sure as heck sounds like a hot deal... although id say this is only relatively speaking, however... im sure, we're all aware of the high cost of dvd-ram media, and their compatability to only dvd-ram drives, and nothing else... tsk, pity we have overbearing motion picture agencies... oh well

Anyone own this model? How is the DVD movie quality on this drive? I just bought the Creative Labs Encore DVD drive from Buy.com for $135, but for an extra $65, I wouldn't mind DVD burning capabilities as well.

DVD-RAM media is still about $16 bucks, but remember when CD-RW's where $15 too? Give it time, the prices will drop.

Well, the drive definately does not go for $450. Go and check on Egay. I found 4 auctions that are going at about $200 ish. So this is a warm deal, but its OEM, so remember it doesn't come with any cables or anything else.
