SCSI and IDE

with SCSI and IDE (master )both in place, while installing WIN2K on SCSI , will OS identify the SCSI disk as C drive?
Last time I tried and IDE is showing as C and SCSI as D

Any solution?

It is a BIOS setting. Take a look to see what drive you boot off. The first fixed disk I believe is drive C

That happened to me too so I just unplug my IDE drives. Even though I had my boot sequence set to scsi first, it still saw the IDE drive as my C Drive.

Set the bios to look for scsi and have boot from other device enabled if there. Also a w2k instlal will let you chose which partition to install on.

Installing WIN2K on SCSI and booting from that is not the issue.
System is identifying SCSI as D ide as C
I want SCSI as C and IDE as D
