Case: $265 is way too much. i'd go with the antec p180 or something cheaper (you'll save like $150 here)
PSU: fortron 450w ($50 USD)
CPU: X2 4200 ($200 savings maybe)
Motherboard: your's is fine but don't SLI. i'd just get it cause it's a stable motherboard
Memory: you're not OCing so you don't want the good stuff. get 2gb of value ram (either OCZ, Corsair, G.Skill, or other reputable manufacturer)
HDD: 250gb (or 400gb if you can afford it) Western Digital SE16. it's a SATA drive with 16mb cache and i believe the 400gb one is one of the fastest 7200 RPM drives around
GPU: $260 is a ripoff for a 6800GS. go with an eVGA 7800gt or get an ATI x1900xt. you have at least $350 in savings if you cut down on the case and cpu which can be applied to your video card budget. you can definitely afford the x1900xt
Optical: pay the extra money for a DVD burner. if you have a DVD-RW, you'll have no reason to have a separate dvd drive
what is your monitor btw? you don't want to be visually limited by it
