I'm a little confused by some of the comments. Didn't the series finale already air? Are there some people that are just watching the DVD's so that they are behind a few seasons? Hopefully I'm not going crazy here.

The 6th series is over, the 7th series will begin taping in august, not sure when it will air though.
I think you're getting "final season" confused with "season finale."
Aside from that, I always bust up during the episode when carla tries to compete with JD and his girlfriend. The specific scene is when they're arm wrestling and turk tells her what she gets for messing with the warrior.

SOOOOO many solid episodes....impossible to pick one.
one of the funniest episodes tho (not necessarily the BEST or my favorite, just one i remember being funny) was "my fifteen minutes"

I never did watch it when it was aired but being abroad I just got done watching all 6 seasons.
Damm good sitcom.
- My favorite was when Ted's band no longer sing commercials?? but sings TV theme songs instead.
- For some reason I like the episode where the lead singer for Men at Work sang "Overkill"
I like how Carla always refer to JD as Turks other GF.
BTW, I was surprised to see how it wasn't very successful TV ratings wise.
The best season was the 2nd season where it averaged #15 for the season.
For the last 3 seasons, it ranked 88th, 98th and 87th.
With that kind of ratings, I'm surprised to see it lasted this long.
I never did watch it when it was aired but being abroad I just got done watching all 6 seasons.

I love the ep when JD is sitting at home watching the fugitve and sees janitor is his bit roll as a cop that corners Kimball on the train and then promptly gets shot by a baddie.
The really funny thing is that janitor has the exact same roll in the movie "Chain Reaction." Literally, he's a faceless cop that corners the two heros on a roof, and as they turn around to surrender a bad guy shoots him and he dies, placing the heroes in jeapordy because now the cops think they are cop killers. It is the exact same roll. I laughed my ass off when I saw that scene when Chain Reaction was on TV last.

It's all about syndication. There are at least 2 cable channels and one OTA channel where I am that play Scrubs in Syndication, they are BANKING when that happens. And that has been going on for at least 3 years. I haven't watched too many of the new ones but the ones I have seen I liked but in a different way than the old ones. Hopefully I will be buying most of the seasons soon.
