screwy UPS shippments.. see where these two are coming from..

my dad is buying a gateway 400SP plus (999 dollars after a few upgrades) and it was to arrive tommorow or on friday.

Anyway i get his email saying his packages have been sent and they are on its way. They give two tracking #'s.

I wonder what's coming from there and what is coming from the US?

i believe the computers are being assembled and shipped from Taiwan..

that's the only thing i can think of that weighs 5 pounds.

Most if not all computer parts are made in asia, what's the difference ?

Singapore for Dell actually, least that's how it was for my laptop.

With UPSes new site, the program to ship packages has a feature to tie packages together for easier tracking. This is just showing everything that was shipped from TW.
