So I special order a new storm door from home depot over 2 weeks ago.
I call up on wed. night 6/29 and the lady tells me

"Your door is on a truck and will be arriving in the store tonight (Wed.)"

Now I call today (2 days later) and the women on the phone tells me my door
is "scheduled" to arrive tomorrow 7/2!! and get this.. it didn't SHIP until 6/30

How the fvck was it supposed to arrive Wed. according to the one person when it didn't ship until Thurs??

I'm so pissed off, I have a buddy coming over tomorrow to help install the door.

The door better be there tomorrow or I'm climbing up someones ass.

"climbing up someones ass" is a new one to me.

Will have to add that quote to my book of classic ATOT one liners.

I work at HD at the special services desk and yea, sh!t happens. We rely on vendors for special orders and junk, and we cant do much about it when vendors start screwing up, which happens often. In other words, my department is b!tch central. Hell, I hate my job, but hey, it pays very well. I'm just a poor college student trying to pay his way around. 🙂

As much as Depot sucks, Lowes isn't any better. Lowes might be a nicer store, but Depot has the better products, and Lowes seems to be dead set on "Depot is the Devil" almost like it is a cult.

Here's an even better reason to hate Dome Despot: They're one of the TOP abusers of Eminent Domain legislation in the United States. They are literally responsible for the takings of THOUSANDS of homes from private citizens at the hands of a government that's been out of control on Property Rights for *decades*.

I suppose Lowes is at fault too then. It seems that Loews' strategy is to build a store across the street from an existing home depot.

I'll look into it, but I'm not *aware* of any cases of Lowe's using emminent domain to steal people's homes. I know for sure that Home Despot and Costco do it *regularly*, and I am sure there are many, MANY more examples of other companies doing the same thing.

We need a new constitutional amendment:

Private property shall NOT be taken from one owner and given to another for ANY reason.
