How do you hit yourself on a hood? And auto hood opening? So there is no latch? That doesn't seem right. I haven't ever had a car that didn't have a latch.

His Chevy has hood struts / springs, so it holds itself up. Hondas use a prop rod to keep the hood up. He took it for granted and just threw the hood up and popped his head and and *wham*

That is not an auto opening hood. There still is a latch. If you can't tell the difference in resistance from a hood that uses a prop vs. one that uses struts or springs then you need to be hit in the head with a hood.

I'm still pissed that my Chevy has no tranny dipstick, wow, they must have saved a whopping $3 per unit with that brilliant idea..

Shit at least you still have an engine oil dipstick. Some companies are forgoing that expensive piece of equipment.

The reason they're ditching the dipsticks is because the dipsticks behind the wheel rarely use them so they've gone to sensors and idiot lights.
