Screw up with the girlfriend? Send cheap flowers!

If you go all the way in the checkout (email address, etc), but close the page without completing your transaction, they usually email you a better deal.

Worked that way on V-day. Try it.

Proflowers has one of the best flowers... better quality than 800flowers.. the 800 ones dies so fast.. proflowers last over 1.5 weeks

just don't tell them they are cheap because they will think cheap flowers = cheap girlfriend 😉

yes, b/c anyone with a gf needs the hot deals section. Its simple math.

$$$$$$ + girlfriend = $ in your pocket

I got unlucky and there was a delay at the UPS end that my gf had to go back to work to get them (at least she was surprised because her boss didn't say why she had to go back up 🙂 ). They were supposed to be there by 1030 and didn't arrive till like 3 🙁

In spoken terms the formula said

lots of money + a girlfriend = little money for you. Which is why you need the hot deals.

I visited the site and when I closed it I got a pop-up for a free $9.99 standard vase. For anybody interested, give it a try.

FYI from an old married guy....flowers are nice but they are fire and forget weaponry for the relationship wars. Really nice plants, flowering plants, etc are a much better buy. You get the initial shock/Awww how sweet when you give them....but.....they work for a long time after. Make the big mistake and as the @ss chewing begins you point across the room and point at the plant/s....."wow, remember when I gave you that, it really looks great still"......its like a greenhouse MIRV. Well, as long as she isn't one of those can't keep a plant alive and burns the salad types.

Good find! I've just sent my soon-to-be girlfriend two dozen assorted petite roses, a vase, and a box of chocolates for $45! (Two day delivery)

(I used the VISA offer, not the entertainment book offer)

(I know what you're thinking, so I'll say this before you ask these questions: Yes, she was my "soon-to-be" g/f before I sent her the flowers, this is just icing on the cake. No, I do not expect to get a woman's heart on flowers alone)

Smurf, all is fair in Love and War.

I've never been afraid to use an old trick like that.
You want icing on the cake? First time going over to the fiancee's parents house on Easter (or any Holiday) I took over an Easter Lilly. Damn, that was big points with everyone! I think her Dad respected it more than her Mom.

I have nothing but the best to say about ProFlowers. I ordered my girlfriend an arrangement of irises and lilies (the "Spring Spectacular" on the linked page) on the first day at her current job, and when they arrived they had *just* begun to open. I mean literally that morning--one of the blooms was still a closed bud. They lasted three and a half weeks with food / water on her desk.

And me? I had yet another workplace fanclub notched on the belt 😎

actually, i was thinking you're screwed when a "real" day comes up, like a birthday, anniversary, v-day etc. $45 on nothing day means you gotta do more next time.
