non reg, and reg. the difference is minimal. 1700 would be good enough for a pretty decent if not good system

I would personally go for less on the case, (although that one is cool), i'd also wait for nForce4.

Will have options for dualie vid cards (PCI xPress). So maybe like 2 6600gt's instead of the x800 XT.

Also i might consider theGF6800gt instead of the x800.

And maybe get like 2 samsung 80gb and do RAID0, you can usually get these from COMPusa for like ~$30 ea., when they are on sale (whic his like almost everyweek).

Socket 939 CAN'T use registered. Only socket 940 which is Opterons. And NO, I would want to buy 2 $300 cards instead of one $500 one, plus waiting for months for nothing else I could use....

Maybe, but it also says Registered, and you can;t use that. It won;t boot !

6600 GTs are $200 each which is what he was saying to get two of (2x200=$400). The card he was saying to get INSTEAD of the x800XT is the 6800GT which is usually very overclockable to 6800 ultra speeds and is usually around $350 on sale.

Are you looking at the updated one? Not the first one I posted to begin the thread with, just a few posts up. I can't find where it says registered...

The Radeon card says quantity: zero. It won't let me remove it.

I'll wait for nForce 4 and dual the cards with two 6600gt's

Ok, for one thing, 2 660gt in SLI Would be substantially faster than 1 x800 XT, plus you could use 4 displays instead of 2 (i am almost posative aobut this). If you nwanted to spend more money you could however get as someone else said 2 6800gt oc them to Ultra speeds an throw em in SLI, that system would friggen SCREAM.

2 6800gts or ultras would but i think 2 6600 gt wud be about the same, if not slighlty slower than x800xt

I saw the memory update now, but I would go with Mushkin or Corsair, (maybe OCZ, haven;t had good luck wit them) I have never heard of PQI.
