Screenshots (Alt+Print Screen) are saved where and in what format? BMP?

Just go into any photo editor program and click paste.

Press print screen.
Open up Paint.
Press Control + V
Save as JPG.

It's a bad idea to save screenshots as JPGs... JPGs are much more suited for photographs with a lot of detail, since it can "secretly" blur a lot of colors and get away with it... but it looks horrible on screenshots.
The best format for screenshots is PNG.

Just an added tip, if you set the bitmap in paint to 1x1 pixel & then let it automatically resize when you paste in what you've alt-print screen'd you'll have perfect images every tome.
