San Andreas DOES look pretty good on the PC....(at least when you are driving around on the big open roads)....
Don't have no screens handy....but yeah, the foliage does look pretty bad when viewed close up. It's a game that looks great while its in motion: not the kind whose screenshots send graphics-nuts in a flurry.
