Screensaver problem in XP

Sometimes my screensaver will work but most of the time it won`t. I`ve turned off things in the start menu one at a time and it still won`t work. I`m running XP Pro . Any ideas?I`m trying to get a picture of the taskmanager , looks like i`ll have to upload it and put a link here.

Is this an XP screen saver or a 3rd party SS? I have some that don't work in XP.

Any screensavers. Here`s a link to my Task Manager I haven`t been able to figure out the problem.
