my moniter/screen is all of a sudden blue, i can read and what not, but all white'ish colors are light blue. all my moniter settings and vidcard settings on are the defaults. This just happened when i was browsing the web, out of no where.

restart doesnt affect anything, and even the bios info is blue, so its not just windows.

its not the moniter, the moniter settings display normaly.

i unfortunutly don't ahve another vid card that will work, is it possible that its a software/windows prob if the moniter settings display normal?

I've seen this tons of times with machines at work. Before saying it's the monitor, check your monitor cable. Many times the cable is going bad. Wiggle it around and see if it does anything, and make sure it's tightly connected to the video card.

My suggestion would be to check the monitor and then the video card ,to narrow down the culpprit, on a different machine, Check the cables on the current setup, wiggle them and see if that affects the color. It really could be either, If they both work OK then probaly software or driver related.

Hi, This is going to sound silly, but when I don't screw the monitor connector into the back of a machine it sometimes starts falling out from one end. It usually turns blue first. It get this when testing MBs out of the case when I'm too lazy to screw them in. Jim
