Just wondering if anyone here at Anandtech knows of a solution to this.
My brothers' computer gets near-constant screen tearing when playing videos. It does this for Flash videos and Netflix Instant, which uses Microsoft Silverlight. I can't figure out how to get rid of this. It does it with the 11.3 drivers and the 11.6 drivers (I saw no point in updating to 11.7 since no fixes were listed) and when set to 60 hz and 75 hertz refresh rates. Is there any way to force v-sync to fix this, or other solutions?
My brothers' PC has Windows XP, Radeon HD 5670, and a 1440x900 monitor connected to the graphics card by VGA.
