I don't think there is a CTRL+ALT+PrntScrn... it's either PrintScreen (whole screen) or ALT+PrintScreen (active window only).

.. the PrtScn button does not work at all.. it doesnt do anything when i press it... unless it saves it w/out saying anything or notifying me.. if this is the case.. where does it save it to?? where's the default?? thanks...

it puts it on the clipboard so just ctrl+V in any paint program.

Print Screen by itself copies the entire screen into your memory, sans mouse pointer.

Print Screen in conjunction with the Alt key copies just the current window, allowing you to do things like this & this.

there are three basic things that you need:

1) the monitor
2) extension cord
3) a photocopier

place monitor face down on photocopier and voila!

return monitor to original position on your desk. place paper copy of screen contents
directly in front of monitor. say "scan". monitor will then scan paper copy back into the computer
and will be ready for use in any program!

<< i forget....wheres the default directory it stores the images? >>

i cant tell if you're mocking me or actually want an answer.. but the answer is it doesnt store them... you have to paste them into some image editing software like ms paint or photoshop or something like that.. .its like copying something and then switching programs and pasting it there... thats it...
