Just recently I've noticed that every little while my screen will kind of flicker for a little bit. Sometimes its a very small flicker and sometimes its more shaking. I noticed this with both a radeon 9500 and 9700 pro. Could this be from some magnet? Or is there something wrong with my monitor or video cards?

Its probably your refresh rate, make sure you also have the ATI control panel installed.

I had the same problem until I installed it, and from there changed the refresh rates around.

degauss it, that can help at times, check yor refresh rate, and move any speakers that could be close to it. i know i had a pair of speakers that would make my monitor act funny at times when they got too close

it might be that your monitor aint getting enough juice.

aw shiet. That may be it. Let me check it out.

It happens on my viewsonic, when we had the power outage, and the power came back.
It never came back at full capacity and it was lacking.

Other possabilities:

1) Too much EMI
- Try setting up your system in another room temporarily
and/or
- Move any speakers, radios, other electronics away from it.....
2) Bad signal cable
- Try a different VGA signal cable
3) Bad power cable
- Try a different power cable
4) Bad cable connections
- Try tightening the little thumb screws
5) Low refresh rate
- Adjust the refresh rate (upwards)

Had the same problem with a monitor at work. Changed the outlet to the emergency backup outlet (I work at a hospital) and the screen stopped shaking.

Before, when the laser printer started printing, the screen would go wonky too.
