Hello all. Well im stumped here. It seems that everytime I start up my pc, and the login screen for Win XP Pro appears, my computer defaults to 800x600 resolution. Once windows starts up I have to go in and manually change it back to 1024x768. Im running a ATI Radeon 9800 PRO, and for the past week its been fine. Just this morning the problem occured and its driving me crazy. I don't know what the problem could be. Is there a way to fix this? Id appreciate any suggestions you all might have. Thanks!
Oh and on a second note....when i go to Display Properties Settings, under the drop down Display box, there are two items. First it says..."Plug and Play monitor on Radeon 9800 PRO" then theres another entry that says "(Default Monitor) on Radeon 9800 PRO-Secondary" Im not sure why this is. I tried to change to the secondary monitor and adjust its settings also, but it was stuck at 640x480 (low-8bit), and when i tried to change it it would just revert back to 640x480. Im not sure why there is even a secondary monitor listed there since I only have this one monitor connected.
