Scratch on the glass of a monitor

I have a Viewsonic PF775 and I was wondering if anyone knew how much replacing the glass or getting the scratch repaired would cost? The scratch is about one inch long, 4 inches from the left and one inch from the bottom, less than a mm deep.

I've seen kits that repair scratches to monitors. Or you could just go the cheapy route, clear nail polish.

i've tried the clear nail polish on monitors
it worked pretty good
