Hi,

I have bought a used NEC MultiSync FE950+ Black Monitor this weekend and it seemed to be in perfect shape. But, when I came back home and plugged it and sat in front of it. After some minutes, I saw a small, vertical scratch (about 1") in the bottom right corner (at about 5" from the corner). I don't know what is damaged. The glass itself or the plastic cover only. The monitor is still on warranty (about 3 months left). Is that kind of damage covered by NEC-Mitsubishi's warranty? If not, what can I do to repair it?

If I ask the seller if he had that scratch, he will mostly answer me "no". So, no help there.

Thank you

good job it is NEC. They will replace ANY moniter as long as it is within warrenty. I had a friend who sent a 19" moniter back 4 times in 3 days because first of all it had minor focusing probs, then the replacement had bad focus then the next had power probs. All replacedd within 1 day of reporting he wanted it changed. He also changed his 21" one at the same time because everything was pink
