It's funny that everyone is ripping on people who "waste time" scrapbooking, but will not hesitate to spend countless hours staring at a screen playing counterstrike or Battlefield 1942. Or complain that scrapbooking is expensive but will drop $300 on a new video card. Different strokes for different folks people.

We have a few stores in the area devoted to scrapbooking. A girl at the office showed me hers last week and it looks pretty nice. We all have different hobbies that we "waste" money on so if that's their thing more power to them.

Or posting in an OT forum. I don't do any scrapbooking, but my GF does. I'm sure memories will take on a different meaning for most here when they are in the twilight of their life times.

i definately wouldn't call it a waste

it's memories

digital pics are versatile...but they're don't laste
i can't imagine how i'm going to show my grandkids (40 years from now) the terrabytes of family photos i've collected over the years
this is why scrapbooks and photo albums won't go away.

personally, i don't have the time or patience to do one...but i respect those who do

i won't post the URL here, but if anyone wants it - let me know (and an additional 10% off)

Yes, there's a HUGE market.

I don't "scrapbook" myself, but my daughter does, and so do 90% of my female friends/acquaintances. It's something to talk about. Some of the stuff is so so so so CUTE.

I'm a grandma, btw. It's much more popular with my demographic than with the average ATOT dweller.
