I just asking what are the difference between those three terms. All three of those are similar because it has to do with watching your target and gathering information about them.
But what is the difference though? Are they the same concept but just different words?
there is a very clear difference between the three.....at least from a connotation standpoint
a) scouting: going up ahead to see what's there
b) stalking: following someone to see what they're up to
c) recon: setting up a vantage point to observe a partular location or event
you really need to say what context you're interested in. If it is a military topic, you'll get a different answer than from a legal standpoint or whatever else you might be getting at.
