However, I was specifically talking about his kids, not his ideological progeny, if you can call Trumpies that. Hawley is a shit opportunist head to toe. Cruz really annoys me. In fact I can't think of a Republican who doesn't annoy me. I suppose Liz Cheney deserves some credit right now. The R's are trying to force her to resign but she says nope.

I think it's possible (we got a big hint) that McConnell will try to muster a wave of Rep senators to crush Donald's 2024 hopes. He said as much, so he must think it's possible. Or maybe he was just trying to get the idea out there out in the open, save the GOP from Trump going forward even if they don't get enough votes to convict him. This all really does stink. If he can't be convicted, it's a bad lookout, the level of corruption and look the other wayism in the USA is catastrophic. I'm hoping the bad PR for the R party carries forward in the next two general elections. If not, the situation does look nothing but dire.

Make no mistake, the USA is roiling. I don't think we're seen anything like this since the 19th century. I'm not a historian, but I am NOT uneducated. Madness has seized 1/2 the country. We're in a dangerous situation. Fortunately, The Donald will be dismissed from the presidency this coming Wednesday. You can bet on that.
