The guy is convicted of murdering his wife and his unborn child, yet he's bombarded by fan mail in Prison. WTF is wrong with women these days? How desperate can you be that you have to resort to swooning over convited murderers in Prison? Tell me, do you actually think a man would send fan mail to a female convicted double-murderer? Women....

That's pretty naive then.

Isn't it amazing..

OJ=Black; had good evidence, but walked away..
Peterson=white; all circumstantial evidence, sentenced to death..

If Peterson would have been rich he would have got off too.

But his trial was unfair!

About the only thing that is unfair is that some sniper didn't take him out when he was being courthouse. :Q

They didn't hire a good enough sniper! 😉

What ever happened to sending inmate -- "See ya later (NOT)" cards?

considering the much higher percentage of black death row inmates and the often heard criticism that the judicial system sends more black men to death than white people, the implications of your statement is unwarranted.

There... I fixed it. Now, the amazing part IS valid.

Scott had a decision to make - A) He could kill his wife, the mother of his unborn child and then try to get rid of the body so as not to get caught and possibly be sentenced to death or B) Get a divorce.

Hmm... which way to go...

Who was the guy in the "guys...don't ever get married" thread who was sympathizing with Scott Peterson? Something like "he saw no way out.."

... that is if you believe he's guilty of murder, much less premeditated. I do not believe that the way his trial was processed could lead me to fairly conclude that he is guilty of premeditation at the very least. Legally, he's been convicted, but it does not make it an abstract truth that he was guilty of premeditated murder. I hope that his conviction is overturned, and he gets the chance for a retrial. If he's convicted the second time, even if of premeditated murder again, then so be it ... so long as the trial was fair.

This doesn't surprise me at all. This has been happening forever. Charles Manson had a huge female following, as do most 'famous' murderers. There are some females out there who will always be attracted to the 'bad boys', no matter what they did. It's pathetic, I agree, but it's also a reality of human nature and that's probably not going to change.

I'm guessing he didn't want to be homeless and penniless... I can understand child support, although most women abuse it - but alimony? That's some serious BS. It's a holdover from back when women were supposed to be barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen. There's no reason for this archaic mantorture to exist in today's world, where a woman can support herself as well as a man can, yet it persists because women are soulless enough to insist on it in most cases :frown:

I completely agree. Two very good friends of mine have had to start ALL OVER due to shady alimony.
