The McClellan news emerged on the ''D.L. Hughley Breaks the News'' show which airs Saturday at 10 p.m. on CNN. McClellan will be on Larry King's show talking up his election views on Friday night.

Here's the transcript:

D.L. HUGHLEY: But you haven't endorsed anybody. You haven't endorsed anybody. There is McCain and there is Obama. You know, I'm a new show, and your endorsement probably would mean a lot. Don't look at the fact that I'm black. Nothing like - no pressure. Endorse somebody, Damn it. Endorse somebody.

MCCLELLAN - From the very beginning I've said I'm going to support the candidate who has the best chance of changing the way Washington works and getting things done. I will be voting for Barack Obama.
