Good for him, I always knew he really isn't that conservative coming from MA.
having hot daughters is a bonus too.

as for the bill itself
a 15 billions bill is better than the original bloated $85 billion bill.

He knows, like the R congressman from the New Orleans area, that he better vote the way the people from their areas want or they will have a very short time in DC.

True.

However people forget Obama's 1 trillion dollar "jobs bill" he pass last year that did little more than provide raises for government workers and then called them "jobs saved".

wow, for some reason, his facebook fan page have about 1/2 negative comments. people need to look at the big picture. they probably didn't even read the bill and just did a knee-jerk bashing because he voted with the dems.

one of his platform was for creating jobs.

Don't know a lot about the bill details so no comment. Iirc there were some decent things in there. How effective it will be don't know.

Scott Brown could turn out to be a decent man. With only R that can win in Mass the funds will keep coming from GOP and with D pressure coming from his constituents to maintain power he can't veer too far right. Perfect balance, just what's needed. I know that's not dug in here with ideologues.

You mean a republican truck driving, teabag partying politician voted with the Dems. Spidey is probably somewhere being revived from a fainting spell. :)

Oh there you are. I heard it was touch and go there for a sec, but some folks said when Pelosi gave you mouth to mouth you came around with a big smile on your face. :p

Though when I was hearing the highlights of the "jobs" bill, especially the proposed tax cuts...

I would bet for many companies, the money they "save" on these tax cuts, will turn right around and be spent on paying the accountant to file them properly. Like the tax credit for a worker unemployed for >6 months and remain on your payroll for 12+ months, what kind of paperwork is needed to definitively prove all that? To withstand an IRS audit? Hell, if the IRS did audit, even if everything is legit, process will cost the business more than the credit it's trying to receive. So which businesses, exactly, will go for this?

Sounds all lovey-feeley-carey on paper, but when actually out in the real world?

I just took a shot at Spidey using Pelosi, but I think Nancy was sweet looking back in the day

That's ok. Take your time and come back after the wingbag radio pundits have worked out the logic and outrage for you, and you'll be free to repeat those ideas as if they were your own.

In the spare time, perhaps you can send him some more donation money? We need some more democratic legislation to get moving.

proof that looks don't last.

She's 70 years old man. My grandmother couldn't even draw her eyebrows straight by the time she was 65.

On the upside, she always looked surprised and excited to us grandkids.

I don't think surgery helps an already "attractive" person age well. I didn't know Pelosi was a such a cutie back-in-the day.

I didn't either. I'll say it up front, with the way she had like that back in the day, I'm hitting it. Over and over again. Chick was working in her prime.

Oh no you don't!

This thread is now about the lithe, young, girl-next-door Pelosi.

I would invite her out to lunch, but at the last moment suggest we go back to my off-campus apartment and toss a quick salad instead.

I would begin by moistening her inner-thighs with a mixture of imported goat-cheese and ranch dressing, followed by a light garnishing of bacon-bits. As I patiently devour the baby spinach leaves gently resting on the flawless, taut skin between her hip and her pubis, my eyes wander toward the 1/4 cut slice of tomato comfortably resting in the dip of her belly-button. A small pool of succulent tomato juice has pooled underneath.

I then apologize for not having any croûtons.
