Oh also fuck Scott Adams. what a garbage person he turned out to be.
I saw a take the other day that perhaps we should bring back speaking ill of the dead. If prominent people think their name will be cursed because they were a garbage person in life, maybe they'll think twice about being a garbage person. There is a reason that you don't see many people named "Adolph" running around.

... they don't?

Nope!

The Dilbert comic strip came out while we were involved in procuring a large mission-critical computer system. I cannot count the number of times that the daily comic seemed to be a direct commentary on our project. So much so that I had a pile of my favorites on my desk that were cut out from the local newspaper. His insights into the messy process of developing computer systems and software were spot on.

For years I sprinkled Dilbert characters into my spreadsheet tools and PowerPoint presentations. And I used Dilbert as my avatar in this forum and others.

Sigh...

This all came to an end when Adams spun off into his racist world of hate. Torched his legacy as thoroughly as Bill Cosby.

Now I just hope that Gromit doesn't let me down too.
