Scotch in a...can?

I can see it working. If I want to try a variety of scotches, but don't want to commit to a full bottle of each then smaller, cheaper containers would be quite appealing.

Why not a small plastic bottle so you can reseal if you don't feel like 8 shots at once. It'd still be just as portable if not more so. Guess not as much shock factor.

I don't always drink scotch, but when I do, I drink it in 12 ounce multiples.

a can is 350 or 355 ml. that's not much smaller than a standard 375 ml bottle. there's also several 200 ml bottles on the market.

This has been available in South America and the rest of the world for a while.

It was nice to have a glass of scotch on the beach.

why not use small cans like this?

Single *grain*. It's column still grain whisky, not malt. It barely qualifies as scotch if it does at all.

brand, age, type of scotch, and taste please. i'm curious now...

last thing i want to lug onto a boat is a bottle of scotch.

They claim it's too inconvenient to bring a bottle of scotch on a boat or to a party?

They're just not true Scotch drinkers then.

i think their saying it makes them look like an old drunk when they do that.
Or maybe that's just what i think when i see such.
