Scorpions glow under UV lights!

Interesting. I had one living in my car a few years ago and it matched the interior! Tried smoking it out but would still see it from time to time when it ran across the floormat. This would have been helpful 🙂
 
They glow from their travels through space. They left there original planet to breed on earth. During their commute they absorb large quantities of ultra-violet radiation.

It's considered a security system by most insurance companies. He'll put up with anything for lower rates.

If you live in the desert southwest, you get accustomed to scorpions living with you. But if one was in my car I'd definitely be trying to eradicate it. 🙂

I know it sounds odd, but after I couldn't catch it I just got used to it. I always made sure to look carefully before sitting and figured it was more frightened of me than I of it. I became rather fond of it, although if it had stung me that notion would have quickly faded. After a while we stopped seeing it and I felt a little sad.
 
Hey hes probably still in your car just mummified now....
I had a slug in my car for awhile. Miss him too😀

I think that guy said the scorpion has eyes on top of it's head, which is false.
 
scoprions also hide in your sleeping bags and shoes.
when camping where scorpions can be found, ALWAYS shake out your bag or shoes before.
i would much rather find one in my car, than either of those 2 places.

Well no sh!t. I've read they only had eyes on the front corners of their heads, and the ones on top were fakes.
Could that be dependant on type of scorpion?
 
I think lirion should do a photoshoot of scorpions, they way he does macro shots of spiders, I know it would be amazing with scorpions.

Of course that would involve finding scorpions in Ohio...
 
Nice to know that i could use my video cameras night shot to see them if i lived out west.
