Although I know that this is a generalization and not all are like this, but I am REALLY hating the Linux community right now. What kind of immature idiot would do crap like this. If sco's claims are not valid, they will lose. This crap is not necessary. Again, I know that this is a generalization, but I can't help it. I've put up with their arrogance and their hate-all attitude for all these years and now... *sigh*

I agree that attacking the site is wrong. However, SCO is trying to claim that they're victims and they're doing it through a team of lawyers. That's not exactly the way to get respect from the IT Community... They've already lost to IBM and now they're attacking Novell. (I take this personally) I'm a huge Novell user. Because SCO is trying to accuse Novell of slander, rather than going for the contract they signed back in the mid 90s, this is an almost certainty that they'll lose this battle and eventually the war. SCO is not going to be able to battle open source and win, so who cares if their website gets attacked.

Who cares if they want to take some companies to court? If what they have to say is not true, they will only lose money. A virus, OTOH, is underhanded.

they remove sco.com from the DNS, so that all traffic would immediately be rejected, and not hinder the rest of the net. So in affect, they are getting attacked like never before, but they are the ones who actually removed themselves. Tomorrow will be the interesting day, as that's when variant -b begins attack both sco and microsoft.
