Maybe some of the older crowd will remeber this.
I was 7 when it came out in 1978 and I dont remeber it at all. But it was jsut given to me with one tape and it works. Kinda cool answering questions about star wars, happy days, star trek, and others.

The site has sound files to turn your computer into a 2-xl.

So there it is anyone else want to bring back some old toy memories?

My younger brother got a 2-XL but this was in the 80's. I didn't realize that it was just a re-release. Ahhh the memories. Times like these make we want to play Weird Al's Good Old Days...

This is the one I remember.

Edit2: Wow, that sucker really did use 8-tracks. That's awesome!

YES! I vaguely remember that. I was also unaware it was a rerelease since my older bro got this for one of his christmas presents in the mid 80s

I was born 1971 and I dont remember this thing at all but is a ton of fun. My two boys and I have been having a blast. My oldest has no clue on the questions on the older tv shows and I had no idea the Fonz's first name on the show was Arthur :)

Think I may have to pick up some more tapes off fleabay.

I had that exact model! I loved that thing, but playing the same two cartridges over and over again got old.
