Ok...so I gotta write this big paper for this seminar class and the topic is to pick a trend in society that has to do with your major,
and how it is making an impact on a specific country. So, I know I would like to focus on the open source movement, but I need
a specific country. I can't pick the US, and I'm focusing on China.

They basically shunned Microsoft out of their country, and I thought that would be a great example to use. But, which country would
I find more information on via the web? My sources will come from the web obviously. Would Germany be a candidate?

OK. Excuse my rant here.

Do your research BEYOND the Web. Go to a college library and do some searches in academic journals.

Use the Web as a complement to your research.

To give you a tip, do some basic research first before deciding on a more specific topic. If you already have a topic in mind and a personal stance towards it, you will likely end up with challenges and poor results, as you try extremely hard to look for stuff that do not (or vaguely) exist.
