Purely hypothetical.

Say you are working for a company and you get into this nice comfy IT job doing some type of support, the oppurtunity arises so that you can go into your favorite area be it programming or networking, this is a full time job you are going to school to get a job like this should you A. leave the job and finish school come end of summer or b. stick to job and get paid very good money and go to night school to finish assosciates?

Get your degree. If the company's not going anywhere, it will still be there when you get done with your degree.

Or figure out a way to do both- I know a girl who went to school full time and worked full time to pay for it. I personally go to college full time and work about half time.

But if you decide to quit and be a bum, Santa Barbara is a good place to do so.

Companys can ALWAYS go somewhere. Never, ever, ever put all your eggs in one basket with any company. That said I think if the job is great and you like it keep it BUT only if you can get your degree. Take night classes and work on the weekends with school so that you can get a degree, because thats invaluable - but so is a good job.

While degree's are fine and both of my girl's are in school trying to get one I'm the one paying for their education and all I have is a H.S. diploma. It is not what is on your wall that realy makes the difference, but what is in your heart.

Go forth and prosper but..............

don't forget to work for a living.:)

Go to school. It'll give you more options. You can choose if you want to keep at what you're doing or do something else that requires a 4 year degree to get into.

I'd say do what you love (keep the job) and go to night school. It might take longer, but you'll enjoy your work much more. It's the best of both worlds, don't you think?

As long as you get your degree in the end, that's the most important.

agree with TheBlondOne. if the job is great keep it but you have to take care of your future so continue on in school for your degree.

Get your degree man. What if you lose this "great" job? Then you are screwed, you are going to be out of money for a while when you are getting the rest of your degree.
