School is out at 1pm today? UPDATE: Snowing now...

Not my school, but many area high schools around Chattanooga, TN are closing early because it MAY snow today.

GEEEEZ! I hate living in the South because they freak out when it rains hard... I like the mild climate, but these people need to get a grip.

EDIT: It's snowing now...but they still made the call too Early by about an hour and a half.

I'm complaining about the way it hasn't started snowing yet and they call everything off...HOWEVER! It just started snowing a few mins ago and the ground is already turning white....so they must have gotten word from middle TN that it was going to get bad fast.

East Tennessee has a track record of calling off school WAY too early. I personally like the time off, but I work for a University and play with computers for a living... If I were home, I'd be doing the same, but have less human interaction. I prefer to be at work as long as I'm not stressed about any of my projects.
