School cop throws high school girl to ground

I still can't find any videos or pics or her assaulting the officer, even though it's been repeated here over and over. Does anyone have a link to the video that shows this?

People are claiming that when she flails her arm and it strikes the cop as she's being picked up and flipped over counts as her punching him. It's pretty ridiculous.

Yep. Let's get all the excuses out there for poor behavior. Definitely not the poor child's fault for not following directions. It's her upbringing, poverty, discrimination, home environment, low self esteem, and probably several others I have forgotten.

You know this was a response to the people blaming the girl's parents, right?

Take a look at the high res gif posted a few pages back

she clearly connects with a punch to the face, forcefully enough that his head is slightly jarred to the side,

She connected on one punch clearly, its unclear whether or not she connected further.

But punching a police officer...that's more than enough reason for him to take her down and cuff her.

Yes, I imagine several of those things influenced her poor behavior. I just thought it was sad that someone was shitting on her dead mom for not being a good enough parent.

Regardless of what caused her poor behavior though, the cop acted wildly inappropriately and was rightly fired.

c'mon eskimo.

you can see she connects to his face

I've watched the video a number of times and I think the idea that what happened there was a 'punch' is wildly off the mark. It's not even close, not to mention that it's quite likely not deliberate as she's in the process of being flipped over by someone twice her size.

They are going to regret this decision. Copycat will follow and there will be no way to resolve this peacefully. TBH, what do you expect police to do if student refuse order? Pound sand?

I see her arms flailing as she was being flung backwards.

It is extremely clear she strike him twice on the arm. Would I charge her with assault? Not me personally. Even the Sheriff (who just fired him) stated she hit the cop. Why would he say that if not true?

I stand corrected, his hand was under her leg which was under the desk. He then clearly picks up her leg, which is under the desk and now flailing like one does when falling backwards. There was no way possible for the cop to remove her from the chair without flipping it over when he grabbed her like that. If you want someone out of a chair you grab their arms and torso area and yank them out, grabbing their legs under a desk serves zero purpose other than to give you leverage to flip them.

I'm not ok with lying to support my position, just the truth my friend.

You are correct, getting her out the chair that way was not a good way. Those things are hard to squeeze into, lifting her left up was not good. She also torqued her way away from him, making things even harder.

For the sake of argument, lets say that flipping the chair over was necessary or reasonable. Once she was on the ground she was damn sure going to get out of the desk on her own and once she did I'm pretty sure that big ass cop could handle the little girl. So everything after the chair flipping, and again I think that was extremely excessive but we are pretending it wasn't, was unnecessary. If she got up swinging, unless you want to argue that she was a serious threat to the officer, he could have then used more force.

No I do not think she was a serious thread to the officer. I also do not think it was his intention to have the chair flipped over. I think he grabbed her, she reacted and the chair flipped.

No, her getting a huge paycheck from the excessive force the officer used might lead others to follow.

Which is sad. Even more students will defy teachers, school administrators, and cops. Just like that kid who wouldn't give his license to the cop after getting pulled over for flashing him. He thought it was his right to not give up the license or insurance. Defying authority is the cool thing to do now days.

Links and videos are posted throughout the thread. As well as the Sheriff who fired the cop, saying she hit the cop. If you can't find any, it is because you don't want to.

she wiggles her arm lose initially

she places a downward swing with a closed fist as she is going backwards. Closed fisted, it isn't flailing.

It catches his face, you can see he felt it because he breathes through the pain just like a boxer does when they get jabbed. The force even snapped his head slightly. Watching his head snap to the side a bit helps establish when her fist connects with his right cheek.

I feel like this is the magic bullet testimony all over again 🙂

Edit: and how do you un-delibrately throw a closed fisted punch?

Again, drag her in the chair into the hall and call parents followed by suspension.

Why was that so hard? If she physically resists then some force can be used to remove her from chair short of throwing her across the room.

You mean the girl? I'm sure her parents set her up one or 10 already to try to milk money for all her oppression and the racism that she incurred 🙄

If you ever experience a moment of introspection, I would make sure you're in bed or some soft place, because the following coma will be complicated by your falling injuries.

from one of the articles above...

"When he came in the classroom, I immediately told my classmates, 'Get your phones out, get your phones out. I think this is going to go downhill.' And it did."

so basically the students were LOOKING for trouble, and they got it.

(not saying what officer did was right either way)

I've watched it a bunch of times and I just don't agree. Sorry.

When you're off balance and being thrown to the floor your arms and legs move all sorts of places without you consciously deciding to move them that way.

Huh?

You don't know how to read a situation and respond to it?

Sorry, this is my mistake. You're not a quick thinker.

All you do is spout off insults and you add nothing to the conversation. We're aware of your stance on this situation. Go away now.

How is it that every conservative in America is ignorant of basic workplace policy and procedure? Do they not actually have jobs, is that it?

You dickheads aren't adding anything to the conversation other than noise. You have no argument. You have pedantry and disdain.

So, no sir, go fuck your self.

Eh basically this guy has a history of acting like this and they knew the chance of it happening again was high. He was called by the students "Officer Slam" for a reason. And he delivered for the camera.

She did try to resist in case you haven't notice. What kind of force deem appropriate for you?

The pussy Law Enforcement Apologists in here are trying to claim the defensive throw of her arm while the thug was manhandling her out of the seat is her "assaulting" him.

Apologists just being the Apologists they are and they should have the beat down done to them that this 16 year old girl got. See if it changes their pussy tunes but I doubt even a beat done would put any sense into their dense skulls.
