Just know that a cop should not put his hands on a person unless the cop is arresting them or the person is threatening the cop. Cops are not supposed to deal street justice.
I actually agree with this.
I don't think it was appropriate at all for the cop to do that; I'm just saying I can see instances where a grown man feels there's no other recourse and there is absolutely kids out there that won't respect any authority until they face a real, painful consequence. I run into underage wild kids in downtown st. louis daily that act like they've never been slapped in the fucking mouth or have in any way faced any consequences for their predatory behavior.
When my uncle slapped the shit out of me, it was because I almost burned down a multi-million dollar ranch house that was part of the golf course property he was trying to sell and I was being a dismissive little bitch about it. He was livid and told me straight up I was going to be taught a lesson I would never forget.
And I've been 100% better since then and it really was a turning point in my life that made me think twice about shit I did and said. So I'm glad it happened and I thank him for having the courage to do it.
Uncle neq cop; this was family and the man was sick of my shit after he was incredibly generous to me.
