School cop assaults kid on video

Judge Dredd laying down school hall justice. You can see his partner pull back in dismay when he reels back for the first slap. Don't know what the kid did, but certainly no one was in immediate danger there. The cop was venting anger into the kid.
 
when the bullies wear a badge then you have problems.

what is the recourse for the kid hit back?

and get charged for assaulting a bully...oops i mean cop.

wtf i got worse than that from my brother all the time.

One of the best learning moments i had was when my uncle was brave enough to slap the shit out of me for acting like a fool.

I'm glad he did it, too.

The way that cop looked, it seems to be the kid likely needed it.

You know, I remember this thing - way back when before this country was full of pussies - they used to use it at schools when I was a kid. It was called a paddle. Our principal carried one with him, damn thing was like 3 feet long. And guess what? They used to hit kids with it!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!! Front page, CNN!

Same when I was in grade and high school in the 60's/70's. Some had holes in them for less wind resistance.

Cool story. During that same time, do you know who wasn't allowed to use the paddle to hit school kids? Cops.

If you want to change the laws to allow corporal punishment in schools, that is fine. Law enforcement officers have a different role in society than teachers and school administrators and should not be allowed to be the initial aggressor in any confrontation with anyone.

He felt unsafe in that proximity to the kid and was forced to defend himself. The kid reached for his gun!!!!

Why do you think you can define what law enforcement "should" or "shouldn't" do???? Lol silly pleb. They are just doing their jobs, which are clearly defined by our politicians for service to the politicians.

Hey back then you guys had segregation and daily race riots. What's old isn't always what's best. Giving kids beat downs should not be part of the education system. How you guys are okay with a 230lb cop way laying a cornered kid is fucked up.

Be careful what powers you so easily give the cops or you may find yourself getting beat downs for "bad behavior" as an adult.

No, we didn't!! Desegregation in schools started in 1964. Never saw a race riot other than on TV news. We also didn't have cops in schools or metal detectors. We didn't have students talking back to teachers or administrators.

Even though it was common for male students to carry a pocket knife, no one used one against another student. During deer season it was common to have shotguns and high powered rifles 40% to 50% of the vehicles in the parking lot, again no one used one to shoot another student/teacher/administrator.

You know I can't think of one thing that I do in my life that I would be getting hit by the cops for - mainly because I am not an asshole or a piece of shit criminal. I'd say those are the only people that have to worry about cops.
