Scheduled program manager?

Is there a program I can use to automatically open and then close a certain other program (so just execute the .exe and then end it later)? Sorry about the weird wording, not totally sure on the terminology

heh, I knew a feature like this would be too useful to not be made... just not built into windows thanks for the help, it's exactly what I've been looking for.
