My bad, after looking at some of the pictures of the Viewsonic, I don't think it's a true "wide" screen.

Costco rebates are a piece of cake, also. I've had them in as little as two weeks.

I believe you can pretty much return anything you buy there for pretty much any reason for the lifetime of the product (though computer systems are now limited to 6 months, I think).

Main thing is if you get a dead pixel, you can exchange it no problem. They do charge tax and shipping (though I've also seem the 20 inch Sceptre in store, perhaps with a different rebate), so you are paying more and a one year membership costs $50, but if you shop there for other stuff throughout the year (it's a warehouse store with prices similar to Sam's Club, but supposed to have more upscale electronics).

that is a killer price for that monitor anyone have any experience with sceptre we used to own an old 15in. CRT sceptre monitor for years but it sadly died after ~5 years of usage which is fine by me but anyone else have any other experience with them
