If you did well on your first weekend, with 3 parties and had to improvise off the bat, you'll only get better and more relaxed the more you do it. I'd say stick it out.

sorry, that just seems to piss me off for some reason... most nazi stuff i dont care about, but this and "irregardless" piss me off...
and i played chuck E cheese for a year or so for almost minimum wage, but my main job there was fixing their video games. some parties can be scary, depending on the mood/ age of the kids. it does get easier, but nothing can stop the snowball of kids not wanting to be there, not wanting you there and the opening to make your life hell for their amusement. good luck with that!

haha i was tapping away and firefox word corrector thingy underlined it in red so i just picked the first one. my bad
i collect the money from them at the end of the party, how much they owe is written in my folder along with the phone number and address, number of kids, age of kids, additional notes, etc..
i make 90$, a 60 minute party costs them 210$ i think 260$ for a 90 minute one and i make 120$ in 90 minutes since the award rate is 30$
yeh he makes alot, its a pretty good business idea/plan, he must clear alot of money every week. props to him though, he'd run the parties for 5 years before he took a more administrative role in the company.

The scariest stuff I've ever had to do was "yo-yo dozer" work. Basically, it's when the slope is too great for a bulldozer to work and maintain traction, (nearly vertical slopes) so they hook one dozer to another larger dozer with a long wire rope cable and the top dozer pulls you up and lets you down the face. Even though the wire rope is much stronger than the load being held, IF it broke, (and they do) it's usually a L-O-N-G way to the bottom...but you'll get there fast. I was always glad to get that part of the job done.

i've thought about it.. the batman and spiderman costumes are custom made and high quality. they cost about 2000$ each
i'd need a shitload of capital for even crappy costumes as they go for 200$ at least, and furthermore i have absolutely no way of getting my name out there. there are alot of companies who do this and better 90$/hr and having 3 definite parties (at least) than 1 party and 210$ per weekend which isnt even guaranteed :
its hard to get the name out there and generate interest cos there are so many others that was well established.
