scarface is on tv right now. i've never seen it before so i decided to watch it since it seems everyone loves that movie. after about an hour i am bored to death. I stopped watching it. maybe it gets better later on but mang, so far its bad.
 
if its a censored version on tv and you've never seen it before, then dont bother. a movie that has the f-word muttered 218 times cant translate well to regular cable.

yeah, its like blanked out, plus there are commercials. maybe i'll rent it from netflix, but still i don't see how the language makes a movie good?

yea, when i saw it (unedited version), I didn't like it. It was just a street punk who killed his way to power. Then you have a bunch of HS students saying things like "dude, that is bad a$$ dawg" "scarface is da bomb". I don't get it really, can someone point out to me what is so great about this movie, and please don't use "dude, scarface is dat sh*t man, he do whatevas he wants homie."

It's an overrated movie, but it isn't too bad. The 80's cheese factor is a little high, but I'll bet that sound track was badass in the 80's. 😀
 
I thought it was pretty lame - first saw it about 2 years ago. I think it took 3 sittings to get through. Definitely overrated.
