Aaron Rodgers - Poor guy, he's had nothing to do with Brett Favre flip flopping all over the place, Packers fans need to LEAVE AARON ALONE.

The guy is harassed everywhere he goes.. http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2008/0...-stop-swearing-at-him/

"The things I can't understand, the things I really take personally, is when I'm driving up to the (parking lot) gate and punching in my punch code and somebody says 'F.U.' to me. That kind of bothers me. Or when a little kid is yelling swear words at me. That kind of gets to me. The boos, they expect a high level of play and they miss Brett Favre. I understand that. But the 'F.U.' and the little kids saying swear words to me, I don't understand that."

the h2 is disliked for what it isn't. off road capable. i do love the nice bumper loops on the h2, nice place to put a winch cable and pull them out of whatever they get stuck in.

EA- a ton of quality game companies were at the twilight of their life cycle when EA bought them out and allowed them to continue making games. Some examples were: Team17 and Westwood.

oil companies.

Why don't we just skip the oil companies and blame ourselves for our choices? Seems like a more logical alternative.

Blame OURSELVES for our choices? This is America, good sir!

I agree with you on Wal Mart. I don't shop there, but it's not because they're an "evil corporation" that "exploits third world countries." It's because their stores are disgusting compared to Target and their service sucks. Target will always have someone at the front ready to check you out within a minute or two (I used to work there; when things get too crowded they put out a call for assistance and bring people up front to man extra lanes).

Wal Mart cuts costs by leaving their lanes mostly unused. I've never seen more than four checkout lanes open at a time there, and I don't understand why they put in so many since it seems they never use them. Wait times are excessive. I often have to wait 5-10 minutes just to get out of the store, depending on how bad it is.

K Mart is worse though. Their stores are even dingier and more depressing than Wal Mart, the clientele is even more run down, and they have even longer wait times at the registers. I was waiting for 5 minutes or so in a line that did not move even once (and there were like 6 people ahead of me) before I just left my items on a shelf somewhere and walked out empty handed. I could have been stuck there for 15 minutes or more if I had stayed. Not worth it for some shampoo and earplugs.

some things become symbols over others primarily due to size.

walmart is a symbol more than target because it is 6 times bigger. thats a log of $$$ bigger. but target should also be targeted as it pays employees similar prices and does not allow unions. but when you are the biggest fattest kid on the block, you get the symbolic head. ditto with Mcdee's.

sometimes we need symbols, but not if they allow us to ignore the other things that are essentially the same thing on a smaller scale.

but scale does matter.

It's not even a matter of choosing a symbol, it's completely ignoring, and even accepting its clone as "right"--e.g. Target is brought into society with open arms.

Or when have you ever heard in-n-out attacked for making Americans fat and obese, generally people will just comment on their yummy burgers.

Or when you think of Rick Ankiel or any other baseball player who's been caught with steroids or those named on the Mitchell report, none stir up any sort of emotions that Barry Bonds does.

How is Aaron Rogers a scapegoat? Maybe it's because I'm not in Green Bay but I don't know anyone who harbors ill will toward him. If anything most people I've listened to/talked to think Favre is being a big baby and should've stayed retired.
