ok, I have a flatbed scanner, and i am trying to scan in an image from a newspaper. My problem is that the text from the opposite side show up on my scanned image. I have tried putting white paper behind the newspaper clipping, but it doesnt help. Does anyone know a quick way to fix this problem?
 
use a dark color paper, like black craft paper behind the scanned page. some other colors will also work depending on color of light source.
