Scanner recommendations?

Looking for a scanner recommendation, $200-300ish range. Will be used in a lab to scan photos and images as well as documents.

I'm looking at the Epson Perfection 4490 right now, maybe with the document feeder if it looks like we'll use it. Any other suggestions?
 
Although its a great scanner, this model has an annoying weakness. Seems on some models it deveopls a yellow line on the scans.

Cannon suggests you take the unit back to an authorized repair facillity to have the problem resolved.

We have this model at work and are currently experiencing this very problem. For the monies we paid for it, we will be skipping the return and buying a Business Quality scanner instead.
