I am looking for a higer end scanner for business applications. The following are the minumum requirements:

Ability to scan 11x17 "Ledger" W/Automatic Documentation Feeding
Ability to save in a PDF file format
High Quality, able to scan blueprints and record them accurately.
As fast as possible.

What would be nice:

One touch scan of 11x17 with auto feeding and documents set to PDF as default.
An all in one setup w/printer and one touch copier also able to handle 11x17.

Would like to keep this around $500 if at all possible, but willing to spend @ $1000.

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance to all of those who assist me in making the right decision.

Client has a Canon DR-2080C that is a Path Through Scanner and uses USB2.0 and SCSII. The images looked good and it did do PDF but I'm not sure about Blue Prints. Look small but had a Powerful Punch and he told me he paid $800 for it.

That is almost perfect, every feature I am looking for except the major need, ability to scan 11x17. Thanks though Sheriff, you almost made me look like the office genius, quite the task I assure you......

Some scanners in the Epson Expression series can scan large documents (11x17, IIRC), but I'm not sure about the automatic feeder, or the cost (I think they're around $1000, but maybe more).
