SCANNER PROBLEM - PLZ HELP IM GOING MAD

hello,

i have a very big problem with my new mustek bear paw scanner.

i am using win2000 and the bear paw drivers from the mustek homepage.

after i install the win2000 drivers, the scanner works for 5-8 scans or till i reboot.
after i reboot (or some scans) i get an error message, that some file can not be found (the error message dont say witch file can not be loaded).

i have installed win2000 many times since i have the mustek scanner, but i dont get the scanner to work (even on a clean win2000 with nothing than photoshop 5.5 and the mustek driver)
after some scans (or after reboot) the error messages appears again :-(


with win98 the scanner works perfect (its no hardware problem) but i NEED win2000.

please, can you help me!

These are simple but is this thing compliant with 2k? Also did you install as admin and then use another user account when you logged back in after reboot?

yes, it is a win2000 driver.

i install as admin and im always login as admin.

and the funny is that the scanner works for 5-8 scans and then say "file loading failure".

what you complainin about... at least you can scan... I have a mustek 1200SP that i paid $450 for... and then they decide not to produce win2k drivers... so i'm stuck with this expensive scanner that is used as a very large paper weight. :/

i can scan 5-8 Times THEN i MUST reinstall win2000!

only with a FRESH install of win2000 and only for 5-8 scans the scanner work.
after that, nothing helps (reinstalling drivers, tweaking the registry etc.)
