SCANNER PROBLEM - PLZ HELP IM GOING MAD

hello,

i have a very big problem with my new mustek bear paw scanner.

i am using win2000 and the bear paw drivers from the mustek homepage.

after i install the drivers, the scanner works for 5-8 scans or till i reboot.
after i reboot (or some scans) i get an error message, that some file can not be found (the error message dont say witch file can not be loaded).

i have installed win2000 many times since i have the mustek scanner, but i dont get the scanner to work (even on a clean win2000 with nothing than photoshop 5.5 and the mustek driver)
after some scans (or after reboot) the error messages appears again :-(


with win98 the scanner works perfect (its no hardware problem) but i NEED win2000.

please, can you help me!
