lookin for a good reccommendation on a scanner... any type... around 100$...willing to spend more if it seems that one is dominant.....
preferably flatbed, 1200 x 2400dpi if possible.. but will take any suggestions... is there really a GREAT difference between 600 x 1200 and 1200 x 2400.. i guess it depends on the kind of work you do.. but is 1200 x 2400 really necessary??
ive got no idea... but i wanna spend about 100$ and get the best possible scanner...

Been asked and answered before. Your best bet is an Epson scanner! I swear by them. If you want to save money, try buying a floor model.

100 bucks, look into the Canon 650U. only an inch tall, powered by the USB port.

I would agree the N650 is a nice scanner. It comes with a Z-top lid which makes scanning those big text books easy as pie.
