Scan Converter Needed for Video Switcher?

I will be projecting video from 3 inputs (DVD, live video, and computer). I have a video switch to connect all three inputs. Do I need a scan converter between the computer and the video switch?

I know you need one to connect it to your TV but I am not sure about the video switch.

Any information would be great.
