Sounds like you live in a very upscale area, you even have laundromats and bums trying to scam people out of quarters. Must be great to be wealthy, your wife sounds very lucky.

With so much money would it have really hurt to give the poor woman a buck or two? You might not agree but some would argue moral bankruptcy is far worse than being financially destitute.

I don't have a problem doing that sometimes...even give them my lunch sometimes. Anyway it's a hard call here since many are making a heck of a living doing it down here.

This lady though was an asshat. She was preying on fear to get what she wanted. My wife is a pretty tough cookie being all of 5' and 100lbs. The other people were obviously uncomfortable and the laundry attendant wouldn't do anything about it.

Where I live isn't majorly upscale...but I am 5 mins from Malapan and Palm Beach which are extremely wealthy. It's a nice area, but sucks people come here and ruin it.

David Copperfield was here in 2006 at our CityPlace. Three thugs mugged him...fortunately they were caught 10 mins later. The way florida is laid out is the freaking armpits of society are like a stone's throw away from those in glass towers.

That's like the people that come up to you in airports with strange stories about needing bus fare or some crap to get to the hotel they're staying at. Some guy tried that at 3am in SeaTac with me, I must've had $2k on me easy but I told him to f-off none of the shuttles run at night since there's no arriving/departing flights. Then he actually changed his story from bus fare to cab fare, wouldn't leave me alone about it until one of the security patrols came by and he took off outside.

It sounds like people on this board try so hard to put other people down, or into where they feel they're place is, so that these people can feel comfortable.

Why doesn't everyone just chill the fuck out, or are you peeps bored of living?
