SBLive rear speakers don't work?

The rear speaker output on my SBLive! value isn't working. It always worked before, but it just stopped for no reason I can think of. I tried reinstalling the drivers(LiveWare 3.0), but that didn't help. The front still works, it's just the back. I've tried switching the speakers to be sure it wasn't the speakers that weren't working. Both sets of speakers work fine. Anyone know why?

Mcbiff is right, make sure you select 4 speakers under the speaker icon in AudioHQ,I had the same problem until I change the setting from 2 to 4 speakers.

It is. Because I had it in livesurround mode when it was connected my receiver. Then I switched to using my amps instead and I switched it to 4. Now that I think of it, that's when it stopped working. All four worked in livesurround mode, because that only uses one output. Then when i switched to 4 is when it stopped working. Before it was in livesurround mode, it was in 4 speaker mode then, and it worked. So I dunno.....

Use the black socket on the back of the soundcard. It ois for rear speakers.

I am. One output goes to one amp, the other goes to another amp. And both amps are working.

Have you checked the switch settings on your speakers ? I have the Altec
Lansing ACS56. I had same problem till I realized there was a way to
adjust volume for the front and rear speakers seperately. I found the rear
volume was turned almost off. :Q

after you reinstall drivers or change something in the sound card setting, i think the speaker setting changes. Check again just in case it switched on its own.

I had a problem where my rear speakers would work after playing mp3's constantly for a week or so without rest. I though i burned out my card or something, but then i pulled the sound card out of the slot and put in a different slot and it worked fine. I haven't tried out my original slot for my sound card though, maybe i have a messed up slot, but highly unlikely.
